Volunteer
There are many ways that you can volunteer with OCI:
- Travel to Koru to work in a local school and/or the community library during the summer holiday *
- Sponsor a teacher or students to travel to Koru during the summer holiday to train local teachers *
- Create or develop teaching material or teaching aids to be used for project activities
- Teach basic computer literacy to local teachers and students
- Volunteer on the school farm or other activities related to the nutrition program
- Develop and participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, drama, arts and crafts etc. for students of all ages
- Organize students in your school to participate in the pen-pal program
*Note: Dates of travel to Kenya are subject to change and are usually confirmed by March. Limited slots available
We are open to your ideas about ways in which you can enrich the community in Koru based on your background and skills.
